Celebrating Southern Heritage and Culture with Food + Drink

February 17 - 23, 2025

Expand your culinary and cultural horizons

The Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival is committed to providing an exciting and luxurious culinary adventure that honors the South's rich heritage. We are proud to showcase renowned chefs, rustic barbecue, bonfires, wine tastings, mixologists and more – all within a spectacular island setting. With fresh seafood specials crafted by local restaurants and unique opportunities to learn about local wildlife, we strive to make each experience one of gracious hospitality with unforgettable memories. Our mission is simple: share our southern charm while helping others appreciate the bounty of our coastal environment. Through our commitment to education and conservation efforts, we’re creating a sustainable future where people can continue to enjoy delicious food from our coast for generations to come.

“We’ve donated 1.2 million dollars to local charities this year, so that just means the world. There is so much to be excited about this year, plenty of evolution but the same core spirit of adventure in the outdoors that defined David so much.”

OUR HEART AND HISTORY

At the Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival, we are proud to be part of a unique annual event that helps provide meaningful support for local causes. We strive to give back and create an unforgettable experience for seafood lovers and non-seafood lovers alike. Each February we bring people together in celebration of the region's fresh seafood while providing valuable contributions towards organizations such as The Coastal Discovery Museum, Island Recreation Scholarship Fund, Waddell Mariculture Center, Port Royal Sound Foundation, Gullah Heritage Museum, Medical University of South Carolina, Volunteers in Medicine and many more.

The David M. Carmines Memorial Foundation was established by The Carmines family with a mission to serve the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton community while honoring their son. Through our annual Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival, we work to make a difference in our home and pay tribute to those who have come before us - while sharing some of the best seafood on the Island! Each and every ticket we sell helps to provide funds for non-profits that benefit our beloved Lowcountry, offer meaningful experiences rooted in Southern hospitality, and bring people together with a shared love of seafood. We are proud and humbled to be part of this vibrant community; giving back has never tasted better!
